Dr. Jing Xu is the president and founder of BioMinerva Group. Dr. Xu is the key originator, advisor and organizer of a series of international conferences, including Strategic Research Institute’s "BioAsia-Pacific Licensing & Deal-making Summit", "siRNA in Drug Discovery and Development" and "Nucleic Acid World Summit" conferences. She is also organizer and advisor of Strategic Research Institute’s "Biochips: From Novel Technology to Latest Applications" conference. Dr. Xu has more than twelve years of research and industrial experience in life science prior to foundation of Biominerva Group. Dr. Xu holds a B.Sc. degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing and a Ph.D. degree in Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. She conducted her postdoctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute. Dr. Xu has numerous business and scientific publications and is a member of Licensing Executives Society and Yale Science and Engineering Association.
